Day 141 of my juice cleanse

Happy Halloween! Day 141 of my juice fast! :) Since it's my birthday I made a special juice - delicata squash & carrot juice with pumpkin spice. Yum! I'm into my last 2 weeks of just juice. I'll be coming off the juice fast on Nov. 12th - a few days after my 5 month mark. It's been a joy & I'm looking forward to doing it again (but not as long) next year. It's such an amazing cleanse! I have to say I feel incredible! I don't feel at all like 46 years old today! If we didn't have to run our store we'd be at Disneyland today!!! :D

Juice Recipes

I found some juice recipes in this article that I wanted to share with you. Remember to use organic! Happy Juicing!!
Breakfast Blast
Start the day with a natural energy high.
2 apples
1 grapefruit, peeled
1 cup hulled strawberries
Carrot Apple Combo
Drink a glass a day to reduce cholesterol and aid digestion.
4 to 6 carrots
2 apples, with peel
Blushing Beta Blend
Beets, spinach, and wheatgrass all work to cleanse the liver.
4 carrots
2 apples, with peel
1 medium beet, with greens
1 handful baby spinach leaves
1 small handful wheatgrass
Mid-day Tonic
Carrot and parsley juice are thought to curb the appetite, and ginger warms the blood and aids digestion.
4 carrots
2 apples
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1/4″ fresh gingerroot
1/4 cup parsley
Blood Balance Tonic
Wheatgrass is one of the richest sources of chlorophyll, which builds red blood cells. Cucumbers and celery lower blood pressure.
4 carrots
1 apple
1 cup red grapes
2 stalks celery, with leaves
1 handful of wheatgrass
1 cucumber
1 small handful parsley
C-Green Tonic
Drink this tonic often for a beta/C blast.
4 carrots
1 pear–Bartlett , Bosc, or Anjou
2 stalks celery, with leaves
1 leaf kale
1/2 red bell pepper
3 leaves romaine lettuce
Omega-3 Energy Blast
Flax is a rich source of Omega 3, and wheatgrass is high in oxygen, like all green plants with lots of chlorophyll.
2 carrots
2 oranges
1 stalk celery
3 Tablespoons flax seeds, soaked 4 hours and drained
1 handful of wheatgrass
Veggie-8 Cocktail
Try this tasty and fresh mix of veggies with a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals.
2 carrots
1 large tomato
1 handful baby spinach
1 stalk celery
1/2 cucumber
small wedge cabbage
1 scallion
dash hot pepper sauce, to taste
